Apparently the others also discovered the dharma initiative stations by accidentally uncovering a door in the ground which after months of digging became affectionately known as the "hatch". That or the prop staff is just as enraptured in the story as the rest of us.

Ok, so in the last podcast, Damon and Carlton made it sound like the use of the word "hatch" was intentional. Not a joke, mistake, or anything like that. Weird.
I wonder why that is? I thought that the name 'the hatch' was done by Locke, not an official moniker.
According to script coordinator Gregg Nations, it was an error that should have read "station."
