Dialogue between Klugh and "The Russian"

Klugh: Mikhail. Mikhail! You know what to do.
Mikhail: We still have another way [out].
Klugh: We cannot risk it. You know the conditions.
Mikhail: There is another way.
Klugh: They captured us. We will not let them to get into the territory.
Klugh: You know what to do. That's an order.
Mikhail: We still have another way!
Klugh (in English): Just do it, Mikhail.
Mikhail: Forgive me. (shoots)

Also, it is interesting to note that the paper in Russian with the handwritten notes spoke about Afghanistan and Muslim Jihadists. The two notes say "My name is also Andrey" and "I have forgotten so much about Afghanistan."

Also interesting to note: "42=9+1+6+5+4+2+1+6+4+4 (Binder Found by Sayid 90M1654-21644)"

Discuss.

That's awesome.

The "conditions" might have to do with the lack of communication with the outside world. I'm not sure what the other way would refer to....

Interestingly enough, we get a glimpse into the value system of the others. We see that Klugh believes that the group is more important than the individual. (Perhaps speaking in Russian is a subtle hint to this.)Also, she believes with all her heart that the others' cause (whatever that is) is more important than anything else. She doesn't want the Losties to "get into the territory." Apparently this would hinder some grand plan.
